PRODUCT FAQ’s

Q. What material are the rim protectors made of

The AlloyGator product is made of a “Super Tough Nylon” which is flexible and wont damage your alloy wheels during fitting, but tough enough to give superior protection.

Q. How Permanent is the Colour
Consistant colour is maintained thoughout the product,  which means that the colour is fully maintained after damage has been rectified.


Q. What is the fitting method?
The AlloyGator product does not incorporate metal clips in the fitting process, our product is locked to the wheel over 360° using highly robust technology.

Q. Can I take them somewhere and have them fitted

AlloyGator are proud to have appointed etyres.co.uk as there approved fitting partner throughout the UK. Click the etyres.co.uk logo on our home page to purchase your AlloyGators with fitting included.  


Q. Can we get club discounts
If your club secretary contacts us we can look at offering club promotions and discounts depending on volume, contact us via our Sales Enquiry Form for further information.

Q. Will you be doing more colours
We can produce different colours for corporate themes or special requests. Please contact us via our Sales Enquiry Form for further information.

Q. Have they been tested at speed
They have been tested under normal driving conditions and within the legal speed limit.

Q. Do AlloyGator prices include vat
Yes, all our prices include VAT at the standard rate.

Q. Which cards do you accept
We accept MasterCard, Visa debit and credit cards, as well as Delta, Maestro debit cards and switch. Payments can also be taken via PayPal by request.

Q. Will my order include a sales receipt
Yes, a sales receipt is enclosed with all orders prior to shipping.

Q. Can I get a VAT receipt
Each order is shipped with a sales receipt including VAT information.

VEHICLE INSURANCE FAQ’s

Q. Will fitting AlloyGators affect my insurance

The AlloyGator rim protector is not a performance enhancing product and fitting them to your vehicle should not affect your vehicle insurance premium, however we would recommend you speak to your insurance Company to discuss your own individual requirements.

TYRES FAQ’s

Q. Can they be used on run-flat tyres

Yes they can be used on run-flat tyres, view our gallery to see cars already fitted with AlloyGators on run-flats.

Q. Are some wheel/tyre combinations better suited than others
Yes some Wheel tyre combinations do work better than others. View the gallery close up photos to see what wheel/tyre combination work best.

Q. Can they be re-used if you have new tyres
Yes they can be re-fitted to the same wheels if you have new tyres.

Q. Do they affect the inflation of the tyre
If fitted correctly they will not affect the inflation of the tyre. We recommend checking your tyre pressures 1 hour after fitting to ensure correct fitting and at regular intervals as recommended in your operating manual.

POSTAGE & DELIVERY FAQ’s

Q. How quickly are goods delivered

We dispatch all orders within three working days from the date of order via Royal Mail 1st Class post.

Q. How you compute the total shipping costs
Shipping costs are directly related to the weight of the package. In addition, we factor in an additional amount to cover packing materials, and any special handling considerations that may be required to ship the package.

Q. Do you send packages COD (Cash On Delivery)
AlloyGator Ltd does not accept COD orders. All orders must be pre-paid.

Q. I placed my order last week, why haven't I seen it yet
We dispatch all orders within three working days from the date of order via Royal Mail 1st Class post, if your order has been placed with us for more than six days and you have not received the product please contact us via our online contact form

Q. How can I track the status of my order/shipment
We currently ship via Royal Mail 1st class post due to cost and their extensive delivery network.  Whilst Royal Mail track every item delivered they do not currently provide this service to end user customers.
